This is a full sitting view of a young girl wearing a printed dress, white drawers and striped stockings. Her arm is wrapped around a small lamb who is standing next to her.
Image is clear with good contrast. Some very slight oxidation has occurred.
Image comes housed in full pressed paper case, which is in good condition. Spine has some of the covering torn off but is intact. Case is lined in burgundy colored velvet with an embossed design. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image.
This tintype was part of a unique collection of images that featured animals. [sl]
