Three-quarter seated view of a young man seated at a table. He wears a buckskin jacket with a fur collar and fringe on the shoulders and arms. Fringe is heavier on the shoulders. He wears his jacket open and visible beneath is a dark jacket with at least four buttons, two on each side. Buttons and a ring on the man’s hand are touched with gilt.
Image has good clarity and contrast although it does seem a bit on the dark side. It is housed in a thermoplastic Union case with brass hinges and geometric decorative pattern to the front and back. Image has brass frame but no mat. [ad]
