A period pencil inscription below the image reads “YOURS TRULY, WILLIAM H. LEAS, CO.K 15TH P.V.CAV.”

Image is clear with good contrast.

Reverse has imprint for MULTIPLYING GALLERY…. LOUISVILLE, KY.

William H. Leas enlisted as a Private in Company K on September 22, 1864 and was discharged on June 9, 1865.  [ad]
