He has a wounded foot which is wrapped in bandages or a cast and he is holding a pair of crutches. The girl stands next to him with her hand resting on his shoulder. Man is wearing a dark colored frock coat with dark colored vest, trousers, white shirt and cravat with pin. Girl is wearing a checkered dress, stockings and boots. Image is clear with good contrast. Light oxidation has occurred on mat and plate.

Image comes housed in a half leatherette case with decorative patriotic mat. Case has minor wear on the edges.  [sl]
