The coat is open to reveal a matching dark military vest and he also wears dark trousers. He also sports a stripped bowtie. The woman wears a dark dress with a pleated top and white collar with a gilt brooch. She has her hair pulled back into a snood. Both of the subjects have tinted cheeks.
