Image shows a soldier seated with a woman standing next to him and resting her hand on his shoulder.

The soldier wears a dark forage cap with a 2nd Corps badge on the crown, a dark shell jacket or frock coat open to reveal a light colored military vest and matching trousers. At his throat is bowtie.

His female companion wears a dark dress with a bodice that buttons down the front. She has a belt around her waist to which is attached a light rosette with long ribbons.

Image is clear and clean with great contrast.

Photo comes in a half leather case with the standard scrollwork mat and frame. Mat and frame show some surface dirt from age.  [ad]
