Card shows the front of Ford’s Theater as it looked in the 1870’s or ‘80’s. The image is by J. JARVIS and is number 56 in his Views of Washington series. The image is on a yellow mount with moderate wear on the edges. The image itself has light contrast and light surface dirt. Reverse has original paper label which states at the time of the image the theater was being used by the Surgeon General’s office.
