Orange colored mount with images of a dead Confederate soldier at Petersburg laying in the dirt. Images are crisp and clear. Pre-printed paper label pasted to back “War Views.” Card titled “A Dead Rebel Soldier, inside the Union Picket Lines. This view was taken the morning after the storming of Petersburg, Va., April 2d, 1865.” From E. & A. Anthony & Co. Broadway, NY.  Card is in good condition overall with just minor wear at corners.  [jet]
