This canteen is missing only one side piece and one sling loop. The rest of it is there. The side that is left is creased near the center and has moderate material loss. The spout and two sling keepers remain. Item was dug near the Crater at Petersburg and was once part of the Sid Kerksis collection. Surfaces have light rust but Item has been preserved.
