This section of musket barrel meas. approx. 15.75 inches long from the muzzle back. The front sight is still present. There is a slight curve to the piece and the end opposite the muzzle is pinched. The item is pitted throughout but the active rust has been cleaned off. Attached to the label is a typed tag that reads “RIFLE BARRELS FOUND ON THE WILDERNESS, VIRGINIA BATTLEFIELD MAY 1963.”
