This item is a large riker box that holds the remains of a US or CS 3.67-inch canister round. The box contains 27 rusted iron canister balls that meas. approx. 1.00 inch in diameter as well as two rusted iron plates. The base plate is a little thicker than the top plate and a third of it is missing. The thinner top plate is missing only a chip out of one edge. These relics were recovered near Atlanta, Georgia.
