The body of this case shot shell has moderate to heavy pitting and light rust throughout. There is an obvious deactivation hole drilled into one side. The iron sabot is complete and may show very light signs of firing. The nose still retains the center portion of a Bormann fuse. The edges of the fuse have chipped away.
Area of recovery is not known.
Shell is meant for use in 10lb Parrott Rifle.
