Complete 6-inch spherical shell with moderate to severe pitting with some surface material loss and light rust. About 60% of the original finish remains but this is crackled and chipped. Base has deactivation hole. Top of shell has the Confederate copy of the Bormann fuse which begins with a long .5 second tick mark. The center of the fuse has also been drilled through.
Shell was meant for use in a 6lb smoothbore gun.
This is a rare sized shell with a rare fuse.
