The face has a dark patina with some light discoloration from ground action. It is a little heavier on the reverse. The plate has some waviness to it.
The reverse has all of its lead fill; hooks are present though heavily rusted.
Item comes housed in a riker box. Under the foam padding of the riker box is a hand drawn map showing where the plate was recovered in 1993. The area of recovery was on private land near a tributary of the Monocacy River, south of the railroad tracks.
