This once cylindrical can meas. approx. 4.75 inches high and approx. 2.75 inches across. The can is rusted and one side is crushed partially. The top is missing the section removed when the can was open. The body of the can has approx. four or five holes where it was either struck or jabbed with a bayonet or both. There is some minor material loss and a crack in the bent area.

An interesting and seldom encountered Civil War relic.
