Struck Confederate Bayonet made by the Tredegar Iron Works of Richmond, VA. The blade is solid and triangular in shape. Each side is flat with no fullers. This dug bayonet has a broken blade that meas. approx. 9.00 in length.

The socket has been deformed and split due to the strike of a bullet. There is a small nail hole in the area of the socket showing that this piece was once attached to a relic board.

Item is very solid.

Recovered at Fredericksburg, Va.
