This item is a complete but bent Model 1842 ramrod. It meas. approx. 39.00 inches long with the rammer head on one end but no threads on the other. The head is not solid but has a small hollowed-out section.

The body of the rammer is bent in a slight “S” shape as the photos will show.

Iron surfaces are rusted but the item is in good condition.

This piece was recovered at Fredericksburg, Virginia.
