This Model 1842 musket tool has 2 blades on one end and a box wrench on the other. The item is rusted throughout but has been coated with clear lacquer to help preserve it. Blades are frozen.
Area of recovery is not known.
This item is part of a small group of relics we acquired that once belonged to the late Mac Mason who is well-known for his early work in the Civil War relic field.
