This folding candlestick is made of two pieces of iron. The first piece was originally about 7.00 inches long. The last 2.50 inches of this bar was flattened out wider than the rest and then curled and bent at a 90 degree angle to form the candle holder. The opposite end of the bar had a hole punched and another iron bar approx. 6.25 inches long was attached by an iron stud peened over on each side to form a rivet. This second iron bar was pointed on one enabling the holder to be stuck into a log, wall or dirt floor.

When folded the item meas. approx. 6.00 inches long and when extended approx. 10.25 inches long. Item was hand forged and is crudely made. Iron surfaces are clean with a light patina.
