Brass section of spur that meas. approx. 4.50 inches long. The heel of the yoke is very wide and then narrows on the arm. Item comes with an old typed paper label that reads “SECTION OF TEXAS CAVALRY SPUR (CONFEDERATE) FOUND ON THE ANTIETAM, MARYLAND BATTLEFIELD IN JULY, 1962. SEPTEMBER 17, 1862.”
