Mullinax Plate 116. Stamped brass with original wire hooks soldered to the reverse. Measures approx. 3 ½” x 2 ¼”. Dark patina. Western Theatre plate issued in large numbers to the Army of Tennessee during 1862-1863. Records indicate telegraph wire was used to make the belt hooks. Location of recovery unknown.
