DUG CONFEDERATE BLOCK “A” BUTTON

$200.00 ON HOLD

Quantity Available: 1

Item Code: 348-53

Coat sized button with a face that consists of a large block letter “A” on a plain field. Rim of face is slightly raised. There is no gilt left on the button and the face has turned dark from ground action but details are discernable. Face is free of dings and dents.

Reverse has the original shank but the rest of the reverse appears to have been hit with clear glue not long after being dug trapping dirt between the button back and the glue. Therefore any marking that may have been there have been obliterated. Due to the clear glue the back of the button is solid.

Place of recovery is not known.
