Complete 9.00 inch French Revolutionary War cannonball in good condition. The body is solid with moderate pitting. Fuse hole is present at top. Body has been cleaned and preserved so the item is ready for display.
Yorktown was the site of the siege and surrender of the British forces under Lord Cornwallis to the American and French armies led by General George Washington and Comte de Rochambeau.
This item was previously part of the Frank Kravic collection. Mr. Kravic is co-author of “COLLECTOR’S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.”
