Very nice tight, clean, example of a 3 inch canister round typically used by both sides during the war. The sides of the tin body are in very good condition free of dings and dents. The top is nicely crimped around an iron plate and the bottom has a turned wood sabot. The sabot is in perfect condition. Overall, 6 inches tall. The iron top plate exhibits some light surface rust otherwise the condition is excellent.
