Fragment from a 3 inch Hotchkiss shell. Shows moderate surface rust/pitting. Relic consists of the base cup attached to a portion of the body, measuring approximately 4 ½ inches at its longest point. Sabot is gone. Three flames grooves can be seen on the base cup. Location of recovery unknown.
