Measures approximately 1 ¾ inches long. This Confederate fuse adapter has the remains of a paper time fuse. Brass has some surface dirt, as well as light oxidation resulting in an uneven greenish hue. Condition is fair, with some light surface rust and slight damage in some places. Relic was recovered from the 12th Corps lines at Chancellorsville, and has been labelled with black ink on the top of the adapter.
