Excavated base piece of the cast iron Sawyer canister round. Approx. 3.4 inches in diameter with three 0.45” holes equally spaced around a small hole marking the center. Recovered from Maryland heights overlooking Harpers Ferry. Typical “dug” condition; solid with no surface flaking. A nice displayable relic from the Sawyer battery.
