Iron flag pole cap was recovered from the Chancellorsville Battlefield in Virginia. Item in in relic condition with light surface rust present all over. “CHANCELLORSVILLE, VA” has been hand-painted on the side. Open end of cap has a chip out of the iron as well as small cracks at the edge.
Measures 7 ¾” long. [SH]
