RELIC P-1853 ENFIELD BAYONET -- CHANCELLORSVILLE

$67.50 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 343-27

Excavated P-1853 bayonet for a .577 caliber Enfield rifle. Dug in early 1980s where Jackson’s Flank attack struck the Union 11th Corps lines at Chancellorsville. This is in rusty “dug” condition, has a bend in the blade, and looks to have come from a wet location which caused some extra pitting in the metal. It is solid with no surface flaking and has been coated. A nice relic from a historic location.  [JET]
