This zinc Parrott time fuse adapter would have taken a paper time fuse. The flanged head is indicative of manufacture later in the war. Adapter measures approximately 2 3/8” from the head to the base. The entire length of the body is threaded. Surface shows only very light oxidation and discoloration. [JT]
