This breast plate features the spread-winged eagle design. It was recovered from the greater Richmond area. Original gilt is semi-bright on edge of plate and high areas. Reverse of plate still retains lead fill and both iron loops.  Some light rust and surface dirt is present on reverse.  [SM]
