This Hotchkiss percussion fuse adapter is made of brass. Its flanged head has a screwdriver slot. It measures approx. 1.95 inches long with a diameter of about 1.16 inches. It is threaded about 3/4 inches down the body. The remainder of the body is slightly misshapen with a large bend in the end of the adapter. It has a nice patina consistent with age, the color is mostly brown on the outside with more greenish spots within the body. [MK]
