This Navy water cap fuse is made of brass. In the head it has stamped the letters “ORD.D 1862” with an anchor stamped in the top right. From head to tail the fuse measures about 2.45 inches with a diameter of approx. 1.25 inches. There are threads for about 7/8 “ on the body. The whole fuse has a brown/green patina with some gray dirt in between the threads. Overall the fuse is in very good condition. [MK]
