This US belt plate features the spread-winged eagle design. It was recovered from the greater Richmond area. Plate has a darkened patina. Edge of plate has some slight nicks. Reverse of plate still retains lead fill and one iron loop is present. Loop has light surface rust. Plate is slightly warped and bent. [sm]
