Canteen was recovered from Cold Harbor, Virginia by the well-known relic hunter Wendall Lang, Jr. (July 9, 1842 - November 18, 1997), a longtime relic hunter and well-known collector.
Canteen is a dug relic so shows heavy rust, warping and dents. Spout is present as well as two of the sling keepers. Measures approx. 6- 6 ½” across. [ad]
