Excavated coat-sized button with a face that consists of North Carolina state seal. There is a significant push to the center of the face, but the details are still plainly visible. The back features a recessed channel with a backmark which is worn and unreadable. There is no shank. The patina is a nice chocolate brown. The recovery location is unknown. [jet]
