This is an excavated gun tool for a Confederate musket or carbine. A single screw driver blade is riveted to a box-wrench. This was always a single-bladed screw driver (not broken) and may have been intended for a carbine. These are known as Richmond Arsenal gun tools. Iron is pitted, but has been well preserved and coated. [jet]
