Here is an original 4.52” solid shot. Used by both sides. Shot rounds such as this were usually fired to ricochet from one target to another causing extensive damage. This ball is rusted and pitted as you would expect to find with any iron relic. It weighs about 12 pounds, is unfused, and was meant to be fired from a 12-pdr. smooth bore gun. [jet]
