This shell was once part of the DuBose Collection at Atlanta, GA. This projectile was never cleaned of the ground action. It has only been varnished. The copper sabot is still intact with remains of the lathe dog. Sans Confederate fuse adapter. Inventory “RIC” is painted on the projectile from an inventory list. [ws]
