This is a single, excavated cavalry spur.  Civilian or Confederate style spur with scalloped edges. Large sun-burst style rowel. Light patina on the brass; piece was over cleaned by the “digger” long ago. In very good “dug” condition. Old string tag states that it was recovered near the Talley farm in the Wilderness, VA.  [jet]
