This is an early recovery from Fredericksburg, VA. Iron cannonball complete with Bormann fuse. Iron is in excellent condition with smooth surface and dark brown color. Some scattered light pitting. The fuse shows some period damage from trying to unscrew it, but numbers and lines are still clearly visible. The shell has been unloaded and is safe. [jet]
