This is a nice excavated relic from Antietam, Maryland. Iron cannonball complete with Bormann fuse. Iron is in good condition with a rusty and pitted surface…typical of an excavated iron relic. The iron is stable. The fuse remains in very good condition and is unpunched. The numbers and lines are still clearly visible as is the arrow showing direction of burn. The shell has been unloaded and is safe. A great relic recovered near the West Woods at Antietam. [jet]
