Solid, cast iron shot for 6-pounder field gun. This cannon ball has a mould seam.  Approximately half of the surface looks to retain old black paint while the other half exhibits a lightly pitted surface.  This ball came out of G.A.R. Post #9 in Philadelphia.  [jet]
