This is the upper half of a Model 1863 ramrod with the tulip head; measures 20 ½” in length.
Item has been cleaned by electrolysis so excess rust is gone leaving behind a dark pitted surface.
Item wears a thin coat of clear lacquer to protect the surface.
Recovered at Appomattox, Virginia. [ad]
