Here is a piece of wood containing a fired Civil War bullet, the remains of a tree that was in the line of fire during the Battle of The Wilderness, Virginia.  The piece measures about 4” long by 2 ½” at its widest point. Bullet is firmly embedded in the center of the piece and is partially visible. This piece of wood is very solid and stable.  A great relic from The Wilderness.  [jet]
