Item Code: R22720

Here is a piece of wood containing a fired Civil War bullet, the remains of a tree that was in the line of fire during the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia.  The piece measures about 3 ½” long by 1 ½” at its widest point. The bullet is well encased within the wood but with a good view of the profile of the bullet including nose and rings. The piece of wood is stable.  A great relic from the Confederate victory at Chancellorsville.  [jet]
