RELIC U.S. PATTERN 1826 EAGLE BREAST PLATE – WILDERNESS

$215.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 986-55

This excavated plate has a brass face with uncleaned surface patina. The detail on the eagle is very good. The reverse has 100% of the lead fill. Both iron hooks remain. The relic hunter wrote on the back, “WILDERNESS / FOUND WK OF 5/28/11 (?) HANCOCK’S EXTREME LEFT FLANK IN FRONT OF TRENCHES – W126”.  A very nice “dug” breast plate.  [jet]
