Here is a small piece of wood containing a fired Civil War bullet, the remains of a tree that was in the line of fire during the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia.  The piece measures about 2 ¼” long by 1 ¼” at its widest point. The bullet is a Williams type I and appears to have come loose and been glued back in place. The piece of wood is stable.  A relic from the Confederate victory at Chancellorsville.  [jet]
