$125.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 954-65

This relic consists of the complete barrel, two barrel bands, three-quarters of the stock forend and three-quarters of the ramrod.

The barrel has moderate surface rust throughout and still retains its front and long range leaf rear sight. Leaf will still flip up. Nipple is missing. Barrel tang is present but there is no tang screw. There is no sign of any markings on the left side of the barrel at breech. Bore is excellent and has been cleaned. Rifling is very good.

The rear and middle barrel bands are present. On this version of the Enfield the barrel bands were retained by band springs. One of them is present with the second band and another is present where the first band would have been. Though the rear barrel band is present the band spring is not.

Wood forearm section has ramrod channel. There is no nose cap.

Ramrod has the slotted head but the threaded end is missing.

Area of recovery is not known.  [AD]

Due to the length and weight of this item, it requires shipment in one of our sword/carbine boxes - $45.00 Insured UPS ground east of the Mississippi, $60.00 west of the Mississippi.
