Here is a small piece of wood containing a fired Civil War bullet, the remains of a tree that was in the line of fire at Spotsylvania, Virginia.  The piece measures about 2” long. The bullet is a .58 caliber 3-groove minie ball. The wood is stable. An interesting relic from the tough fighting around Spotsylvania.    [jet]
